My boyfriend and I found this place completely by accident. We were staying on St.Maarten for a month, and decided to venture out to Saba for a few days! What a place! We were immediately welcomed to the island by some friendly natives and were brought to el momo, aside from the staircase that seems to never end...it was a delightful place to stay. With a beautiful ocean view from our room and homemade breakfast each morning by the owners, we couldn't complain! Each day, we would return to our room, finding fresh flowers on our bed. Such a charming place. Can't wait to go back...though we heard it was for sale...so hopefully the next owners keep the same level of hospitality!

Lovely and Peaceful

We have visited Saba and stayed at El Momo every year since 1999.The cottages are clean and each has a breathtaking view of the sea. The hospitality is excellent entirely due to the gracious attention given by the proprietors. If you want a peaceful vacation surrounded by beauty of the Caribbean, then Saba an El Momo is the perfect place.

My Wife and I stayed at El Momo Cottages for two nights during our honeymoon and were extremely disappointed.
For $90 a night we were not expecting the following:
No mosquito nets
No air-conditioning
No television
No breakfast
No ceiling fan
An uncomfortable mattress made of foam
No proper running water.
For a hotel that prides itself as being environmentally friendly I believe a ceiling fan is more ozone friendly that a refrigerator which they had. In addition, the hosts were never around and the swimming pool was not well kept.
I would strongly not recommend this place to anyone, especially guests who are budget conscious leave alone honeymooners.
