 Located right on a 2km private beach of white sand and surrounded by a completely virgin natural park. It is 95km from Cancún and 80 km from Cancún International Airport; 25km from Playa del Carmen and 35km from Tulum. Inaugurated in October 1999, it is an example of development and respect for the environment.
Total 408 rooms (816 beds), of which 394 are standard, with one king-size bed or 2 double beds. 12 Junior suites, with 2 double beds, sofa bed, separate living area and sea view, 2 Master suites with 1 king-size bed, Jacuzzi, sitting-dining room and sea view. All the rooms have: terrace, full bathroom, air conditioning, satellite TV, hair drier, ceiling fan, mini-bar, safe, telephone and voltage 110v. Electronic lock.

The complex is situated in the Riviera Maya, 25 kilometers from Carmen beach, 35 kilometers from the city of Tulum, 75 kilometers south of Cancun International airport and 85 kilometers from the city of Cancun.
Climate
The Mayan Riviera enjoys a pleasant semi-tropical climate. The average annual temperature is 26şC (79şF) with slight fluctuations throughout the year.
The highest temperatures are recorded in April and May, when it reaches up to 35şC (95şF). The rainy season falls between June and September. |

The hotel has 202 single rooms, 192 doubles, 12 junior suites and 2 master suites. All rooms come with a king or queen-size bed, terrace or balcony, fully equipped bathroom, minibar, air conditioning, heating, Internet access, satellite TV, telephone and safe.
Facilities:
The complex has two swimming pools with Jacuzzi; a playground and "Micky Maya" kid's club; the "Capitán Morgan" discotheque featuring international music; several shops selling gifts, liquor, cigarettes, souvenirs and jewelry; a gym, sauna, Jacuzzi, Turkish bath, beauty salon and medical center.
There are also 3 tennis courts, a sports track, volleyball, French bowls, a gym, aerobics, basketball, mini-golf, dance classes, soccer, table tennis, badminton, shuffleboard, rifle shooting, darts and billiards in addition to a full range of water sports including windsurfing, sailing, water skiing, scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaks, catamarans, pedal boats, sunfish, sea tricycles, aqua-gymnastics, waterpolo and water basketball. |

The complex has a total of 6 restaurants:
Grill restaurants: "Rancho Grande" in the Barceló Maya Beach and "Capitán Morgan" in the Barceló Maya Caribe Beach. Capacity 500 pax & 300 pax respectively. Opened from 10:30 to 18:30 h.
A la Carte: "El Agave" (Mexican cuisine) and "El Quijote" (Spanish cuisine). Formal wear is required at these restaurants.
Capacity 120 & 90 pax respectively. Only dinner, opened from 18:00 to 22:00 h. (Reservations are required)
Each hotel also has a buffet-style restaurant. Opened for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Bars:
The complex has a total of 6 bars, 3 in each hotel, with different styles: 2 lobby bars opened from 9:00 to 24:00 h., 2 bars in the Theater opened from 18:00 to 24:00 h. and 2 poolside bars opened from 9:00 to 18:00 h. In addition to that we have a Disco Bar at your disposal, opened from 22:30 to 02:00 h.
