 EDITOR NOTE: (As many have pointed out in reviews and forum posts there is only a very small beach area at XPU-Ha. If you are a "beach lover" you may want to consider another resort. Though they do have a shuttle to a nearby beach. If you like snorkeling ... this is your resort. Because of the rocky shoreline fish and sea life can be found right off shore.)

Cancún International Airport (CUN): Approximate driving time to the Xpu-Ha Palace is 60 minutes and distance is 90 km (56 miles).
Driving directions from Cancún International Airport: From the airport, turn right and take Hwy 307 south. Signs to the hotel are along the road. The hotel is on the left side.
Getting there: The hotel offers fixed-price shuttle services from the airport through a private agency for US$26–$35 roundtrip per person. Prices are subject to change without advance notice. To arrange, guests can call the telephone number on the reservation confirmation received after booking via this Web site. Rental cars are available online.
Getting around: Taxi fare to Puerto Aventuras is US$16–$25; into Playa del Carmen, fare is US$36–$75.
