Worst hotel to stay at! Lost reservations, very noisy(oh ya the don't tell you there is a band under the hotel rooms that play all night till 5am) No hot water most of the time, toilets don't flush properly, pricy for what you get($85 U.S a night)

Excellent Hotel

After having read reviews of hotels in Cancun (boyfriend wanting to go on an all-inclusive package there), I put my foot down, and we ended up compromising on Playa del Carmen. Could find no reviews about this hotel, and after having read about the ones in Cancun I was pretty wary, but I took a chance, and was very glad I did. This has to be one of the prettiest hotels in town. The staff are incredibly friendly, the rooms are beautiful, and it has its own pool, which when we were there was deserted. The place really does look like the photos on the internet. Even though it has only 3 stars, compared to some of the places I've stayed it has to be at the higher end of this spectrum. I'd have absolutely no hesitation recommending this hotel to anyone. Its not noisy, nothing got stolen, and its near enough to the beach and all the amenities to make going out just a gentle stroll. There's no restaurant, but next door is a little place called 'La Jarra' which does really nice food extremely reasonably - I'd recomment the corn soup and chicken in mole. We had a realy good time and would definitely go back there again, no problem.
