A lovely guesthouse

I'm american and I'm presently working for a humanitarian organization here in Kingston, Jamaica.
I was prompted to write when I saw a review on the guesthouse Search-Me-Heart given by somebody who failed to give his name (but for what matters he could have given a false one) or any plausible explanation.
As for my experience the review (if we can call it a review) is very far from reality and the title is utterly out of line.
I personally know the guesthouse Search-Me-Heart in Drapers near Port Antonio as I frequently go there on weekends. First of all the area is the most beautiful one in Jamaica. Then I love to stay there for many reasons and one of them is that I feel at home. It's a place where I can relax, read, listen to birds singing ands enjoy the beauty of the surrounding nature. The place is very clean and safe. The food is excellent. It's the right place for a much deserved rest after a hectic week of work in Kingston.
Culture is a lovely, smiling person always ready to please you. He's very kind and actually is one of the best jamaicans I know. And I must say that if it's true that he was scary on one occasion he must have had his good reasons to be that way.
I can also add that while I was there I have never heard a complaint. Guests were always enthusiastic about the place and the owners as well.
I have strong objection about the type of service given by some travel websites.
At this point I know Jamaica fairly well and I have been to many different resorts, some of them reviewed and these very reviews were often disturbingly untrue.
Therefore we should interrogate ourserves about the service of disservice provided by these travel websites.

My favourite vacation getaway

I've been going to Search-Me-Heart since 2004 and it's my favourite vacation getaway.
I couldn't believe when a friend told me about a review posted on this site.
It really pissed me off. Are we talking about the same place, Search-Me-Heart in Drapers, Portland, Jamaica and about the same person Yellow Culture?
ARE WE KIDDING???
S-M-H is a very nice place, well decorated,very clean and tidy, always freshly painted, with affordable rates and delicious food.
As for Yellow Culture he's one of the most friendly human being I've ever met. He's sweet, kind, generous and always full of attentions. He's so much fun to be with.
I was there a couple of months ago and everything was as perfect as usual.
I wonder if the anonymous tourist has really been there or he's from the competition!!!

do not go there!

Absolutely do not go there. The Italian lady wasn't in town during our stay and I do not have words to describe Culture behavior: totally non professional and in more than one occasion scary.
The house is very nice but I really felt very happy the day I left!
