If you come from the west, namely from Buff Bay / St. Margaretes Bay side follow the main road to the centre of the town. You will face the clock tower in front of the old Court House in the town centre. The one-way street system will direct you to the left of the building; then take the first right past a gas station and the shopping building ( consisting of many European architectural styles in one – our Disneyland!) to the sea front. Turn right and continue along the coast out of town direction East towards Frenchman’s Cove.
You will pass 2 major landmarks. First the Trident Villas and Hotels. After you drive along the next cove, you will pass a large white palatial looking building on your right ( The Jamaica Palace Hotel ). Continue another 200 meters. Turn right at the first right after the Jamaica Palace hotel – Mocking Bird Hill is signposted at this point.
***Take the road uphill. It is a 5 minute drive uphill but on the way up the road forks twice. Each time take the side going up-hill. The road actually ends at our property ( aside from the new road that is presently being cut beyond our property). As you take the last curve, you drive up facing the parking lot in front of you. The reception area is to your left.
If you come from the east along the St. Thomas south coast from Kingston, then drive past Blue Lagoon, San San and Frenchman’s Cove towards the town of Port Antonio. You will then pass through the village of Drapers. As you leave the village, the hotel is signposted on your right and then again at the actual turn off, which is about 100 m. further down. Take the first sharp left hand turn uphill. Then continue as described from *** onwards.
We wish you a pleasant and safe journey.
