 Encompassing more than twenty lush, green acres forty-two miles from the city of Montego Bay, Breezes Runaway Bay feels worlds away from reality. The gentle fragrance of tropical flowers drifts in the sea breeze. The horizon is a brilliant collage of white sand and azure water. And you're free to be yourself, in a hammock beneath a swaying palm...or re-invent yourself, with video-assisted golf & tennis schools, the best SCUBA in Jamaica and a PGA-quality golf course so challenging it's been the home of the Heineken World Cup of Golf Western Qualifying Tournament 7 years running, as well as host to many other local and International tournaments.
If you have previously come to Jamaica and stayed at a SuperClubs resort named Breezes Golf and Beach or Jamaica Jamaica, you'll be a repeat guest by staying here. Its the same fun loving resort with a few new upgrades and a different name out front - Breezes Runaway Bay - Welcome Home.
What to expect: Bordered by gardens, a spacious, breezy lobby with white-rattan furniture heralds the resort's casual ambience. The resort only accepts adults and older children (minimum age 14).
Amenity highlights: The resort's 298-meter (325-yard) beach includes a 68.5-meter (75-yard) nude section with adjacent five-person spa tub. Thatched shades, two of which shelter two hammocks each, lie along the beach. A 31-meter-long (200-foot-long) free-form main pool adjoins a garden containing hammocks. Outside the lobby is an L-shaped, 15-meter-long (50-foot-long) lap pool and a raised eight-person spa tub surrounded by a wood deck. Another eight-person spa tub lies in a secluded garden.

 The resort features a 297 meter (325-yard) beach that includes a 75-yard nude section with adjacent five-person spa tub. A 200-foot-long, free-form pool adjoins a garden containing hammocks. Outside the lobby is an L-shaped, 50-foot lap pool and a raised eight-person spa tub surrounded by a wood deck. Another eight-person spa tub lies in a garden.
Bars
There are 4 bars at Breezes Runaway Bay: The Pool Bar opens at 10:00 am and remains open until midnight (for beach and pool areas). The Piano Bar/Pelican Bar opens at 10:00 am and doesn't close until you say when. The Nightclub Bar opens after dinner. The Hurricanes Disco Bar opens at 11:00 pm and closes when the last guest leaves.
Live Entertainment
The resident band performs nightly with well known Jamaican entertainers. We also have sing alongs in the Piano Bar with our pianist. Also enjoy Karaoke in the Piano Bar twice weekly.

Watersports
Windsurfing, sunfish sailing, kayaks, water-skiing, Hobie Cat rides, snorkeling, and scuba diving (all with instructor and lessons). Beach and pool volleyball and olympics. Glass-bottomed boat rides. We offer windsurfing lessons free of cost at Breezes Runaway Bay.

Basketball, Bicycling, nature walks, cricket and beach soccer (all with instructions).; four tennis courts, lit for night play, with resident pro. Our exciting circus workshop features flying and swinging trapeze, trampoline clinics, and juggling. Available Sunday to Friday.
Beaches/pools/jacuzzi
There are two private, white sand beaches (1 of which is au naturel) and two freshwater pools at Breezes Runaway Bay - one free form pool and one lap pool in the lobby area. There are 3 Jacuzzis: one of which is located on our au naturel beach, one close to the games room for relaxing after a workout, and the third is nestled in our tropical landscaping.
Fitness Center
Stationary bicycles, stairclimber, treadmill, Nautilus-style equipment, free weights, aerobics classes, aquacise classes fitness instructor.
Indoor Activities
Our games room has backgammon, cards, dominoes, pool table, skittle table, table tennis and much more. Be creative with our Arts & Crafts co-ordinator in our own craft workshop.
SuperClubs Golf Club Runaway Bay
SuperClubs' own 18-hole, PGA-quality golf course is adjacent to the hotel at Breezes Runaway Bay at Runaway Bay. Learn how to play golf at our golf school; our golf director and several professionals are there to assist you. For beginners to advanced golfers, approximately 20 hours of instruction are available each week. The school has a lecture room with video equipment, a 10-bay golf range, large practice green, sandtrap and chipping area. Green fees and golf school instruction are all included in your stay at Breezes Runaway Bay (Clubs, carts and mandatory caddies are not included.). |
 The resort offers 234 guestrooms in three two-story white buildings with wood trim and flat roofs. Rooms feature garden-view balconies or patios furnished with chairs and cocktail tables, radios with CD and cassette players, and televisions offering U.S. cable channels. Decor includes pale-yellow walls, white tile floors, white furniture, green-and-blue fabrics, and wood palm-tree cutouts on walls at beds' heads.
Weddings
The hotel offers complimentary weddings which include a wedding cake, champagne, marriage license, non-denominational marriage officer and flowers. Witnesses are provided on request. Paperwork is handled by us. We require three working weeks' notice to complete the formalities. You are required to be in Jamaica 48 hours before the ceremony can be performed.
Shopping
There is a boutique and duty free shop located on the property plus a local craft vendor.
Conference Facilities
Our conference facilites can accommodate large groups of 200 pax or small groups of 25 pax. The conference room seats 60 people and is equipped with flip chart, VCR, TV, overhead projector, public address system and podium. Banquets and private receptions can also be arranged for a reasonable charge.
Location
Situated on the North Coast of Jamaica on 22 acres of beachfront property in Runaway Bay. 42 miles or approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes from the Montego Bay airport.

Complete fitness center with instructor. Stationary bicycles, stairclimber, treadmill, Nautilus-style equipment, complete weight room, rower, aerobics classes.
Transportation
Transfers from and to the Montego Bay airport are included. Your return flights to your home city are confirmed by our Reservations Department.

Catholic and Episcopalian (Anglican) churches are situated within short driving distances.

 Beach Terrace - Open-air restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, dinner buffets daily. Cuisine themes at night. Live jazz during dinner followed by stage entertainment.
Martino's - Grand, air-conditioned restaurant with pianist, pink-and-white linens, drapes. Some semiprivate booths under little pink-wood ceilings. Italian a la carte menu. Reservations required. Dress code: Long pants, collared shirts for men.
Starlight Grill - Roofless terrace bordered by gardens, open for dinner. Mongolian-grill food, with guests selecting ingredients for cooking to order. Also, breakfast/dinner buffet nightly.
Beach Grill - Open late morning to early evening for light foods such as burgers, jerk chicken.
Hurricanes Disco - Large, two-level, air-conditioned room featuring turquoise leatherette walls and seating. Nightly DJ music and bar service from 11 PM until last guests leave. Pajama and toga parties weekly.
Pelican Piano Bar - Open-air spot off lobby with pianist providing singalong or karaoke.
Sandwiches and other snacks are available at the front desk from late night to early morning. |
