just got back
By: Jennifer Hughey from Rockford il
Date of Visit: November 2010
We had originally booked Beaches Boscobel but were bumped to Negril because the resort was "renovating". Imagine our surprise when the Negril resort was doing the same, people making noise painting, sanding, hammering all day. Unable to get any rest and when we told the resort it wasn't a big deal to them.
KIds activities are practically nil and you have to sign up first thing in the morning, so no 'drop in care" which made us frustrated. Not many activities in general planned, in fact the resort basically rolls up the sidewalks by 6pm.
would NOT stay there again.

Perfect!!!!!!!!
By: Heidi from London, England
Date of Visit: October 2007
Me and my whole family stayed at Beaches for one week... and all I can say is that its absolutely PERFECT!!! The staff were more than accomodating and nothing was immposible. My husband enjoyed his Ackee and Saltfish breakfast, the following day they didn't have it... he asked a waiter if there was any left over...unfortunately there wasn't... they asked for our room number and especially cooked it for him and sent it to our room!!!! They even remember how my mum liked her tea made... and it was ready for her every morning in the restaurant! The wedding coordinator Nakishia was amazing and so was all the staff who made our wedding so memorable! I was not stressed over anything...two hours before we was still sitting in the pool sipping our cocktails!!! I would recommend this hotel to mostly familys as the facilities for children is number one! Stay at Sandals for a more adult surrounding.

JUST RETURNED
By: Anonymous from West Palm Beach, Florida
Date of Visit: July 2006
We booked our trip with Expedia who we have used in the past, that was ok except departing flight time was changed by Air Jamaica and we were not notified by anyone, we were verifying information when we found out.
We arrived at Montego Bay, transportation was good and people of Jamiaca as always great. We have done other all inclusives and found Beaches Negril to be less then top notch. Facility has potential but it needs work. Greeting was great, beach and pools are great our 11 year old had a blast at the pool. Entertainment is very poor and you find your self always looking for things to do and 7 days at first seems like a long time.
Kid camp is very small and they make up things as they go along. Not enought beach and pool activies. Food..well here we go at an island you would expect seafood..well all we got was fish very little shrimp and lobster..only when you walk the beach and see the local fishermen with them. Food was plenty but not quality, taste is just not there.
Drinks well if you know your drinks you will be frustrated because everything is Appleton Rum and very low grade liquor and only one beer..Red Stripe..so drinking is just something everyone does I guess because of lack of things to do. All and all we had a good time...we did 2 tours thru the hotel one was River Walk that was good but the Tubbing was not worth the money if you wanted action...it was relaxing but not fun. We will not be returning to Beaches Negril.
We visited Beaches Sandy Bay since its right next door...it is so small, we were just there about 1/2 hour and left. We have enjoyed other all inclusives and thought this would be tops since its Sandals..but we were wrong..Jamaica is beautiful and people are great but that is were it ends.
