We loved this place. If you are staying at Villas Brigitte this is the perfect place to stay. It is only 5 driving minutes away from Sosua center. The villas are very nice and clean. I will never stay anywhere else in Sosua.
We really enjoyed our stay at Villas Brigitte. Nicely decorated Villas and well kept. The villas are very clean and convenient parking in a secured parking lot.
The perfect base from which you can explore all the nightlife.

We really enjoyed our stay at Villas Brigitte. When we arrived at the house we were given a tour and instructions on how everything worked. All week we had complete privacy and felt safe. The maid was extremely polite and does over the top work. The villas are located few steps away from the beach with beautiful swimming pools, well maintained and cleaned almost daily. The bedrooms are large with comfortable beds. We would definitely recommend Villas Brigitte and would go back without hesitation.

The property is gated and totally private, with mature plantings all around. Villas Brigitte beach rentals was beautiful, private, well appointed, and perfect for our needs. We tanned by the pool, grilled out most nights, walked down the walkway to the sandy beach shared by local homeowners and their guests..... it was truly a blissful way to spend a week. The beach villas and apartments feature refrigerators, AC, cable televisions and terraces with spectacular views. All units feature full size kitchens. Exellent service in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.

It was a fantastic experience having stayed at Villas Brigitte. The short walk to the beach was just right - and midway between Sosua and Cabarete was ideal. We
spent most of our time on the huge terrace which wraps itself around the house. My girlfriend was very comfortable and I had the much needed relaxation.around the house.

I will be back soon!

I stayed at Villas Brigitte with two friends for a week and it was pure bliss. The houses are gorgeous, with every room open to the outdoors.
Features about Villas Brigitte is it's design; it has wonderful space for
gathering, but also has patios and terraces that allow for quiet time and
relaxation. The staff was outstanding, they met, and even
anticipated our every need.
Final note - we have traveled to Sosua for over 8 years, stayed at many villas and always seem to return to Villas Brigitte.
It's a very special place for us - we highly recommend that others go see what we've experienced, you won't be disappointed!!

Villas Brigitte Vacation Villas are awesome! We felt like we were in a home away from home. The location was perfect for us - we had our own car and were busy the entire time.Beds were great and I usually don't sleep well away form home so that was huge. Very clean, had everything we needed.
The staff was very friendly. We had towel exchange three times the week. Plenty of towels, blankets and kitchen supplies provided.
Great to relax in the swimmingpool at the end of our busy days. Great location, so close to everything. Would recommend to anyone!

The worst place in Sosua. Very expensive, unsafe and dirty. The owner will do anything to charge extra money.

Really have nothing but great things to say about my stay at via bridgett. Eckhard & his wife are extremely gracious hosts. They are unintrusive in handling their guests and were nothing but helpful in directing me to the local points of interest.

The grounds are meticulously kept and security is tight. Even the security personnel are gracious. I do recommend renting a vehicle for the stay depending on duration as the location is a bit far from a more lively areas in Sosua.

Hi folks,

I've seen some recent postings on a "Villa Brigitte Beach Rentalsl" and being asked about. My wife and I stayed here for a month in December so thought I would offer some feedback and comment:

This was my first visit to the Dominican Republic and my first villa vacation. It surpassed my expectations
The 2 bedroom villa with 15 foot ceilings is spacious and open, beautifully furnished, with lovely landscaping. I loved being surrounded by beautiful flowers and plants.

Our stay at “Villa Brigitte” would not have been nearly as memorable were it not for the host, Florence. She gave us plenty of information on where to go and what to do, and made sure that there were plenty of guides to the Dominican Republic on the coffee table.
The small touches – like having a pre-paid mobile phone there for us to use, and offering us the daily ride to the local gym – helped to set this place apart from anywhere else we stayed in the Caribbean on our trip.


Would I go back? You bet, have already booked for May and am now planning next year! They say ‘every picture tells a thousand stories’ well check their website site out I’m sure you'll want to create

My wife and I lived in Villa Brigitte which is located between Sosua and Cabarette for 3 months. It's a private villa with apartments and houses for short term and long term rent. When we were looking for an apartment for rent in Sosua area in September we visited this place. I didn't like that the owner (Florence Stuckmann) wanted to keep either my passport or driver's license for the period of our living there. But my wife liked the place and we decided to stay there. Unfortunately living in Villa Brigitte was not as good as we thought. Almost everything didn't function properly or didn't work for certain period of time during these 3 months: wi-fi internet didn't work half of the time, cable tv box exploded (short circuit) and they brought another but also broken, air conditioner didn't work at all for the last 3 weeks, toilet was leaking, ... After a couple of days living there we unfolded sofa in the living room. We found there vomit left by those who lived in this apartment before us. When we showed it to Florence's husband and asked to clean it (Florence was in Santiago at that time) he said that we pay such a small price for this one-bedroom apartment (1300 USD / month) that we should clean it ourselves. Cleaning once a week was already included in this price but nobody cleaned it. The day we were finally leaving this place Florence came into an apartment and said that microwave is so dirty (of course we cooked food there) that I have to pay additional 30 USD for cleaning. This additional charge seems to be absolutely unfair because: 1) cleaning was included, not my responsibility and 2) it was not so dirty. I told her that I will not pay it. When I asked her to return my driver's license she didn't do it and started to threaten me.
