Spring Break 2007

My husband & I and our 18 yr old son along with 5 of his buddies and families stayed here for their spring break. It was great! I can't say enough about the service, food, resort, entertainment on how great everything was. I definitely would come back for another week's stay. The boys didn't want to leave because there was so much to do there for them. The entertainment in the outdoor theater was unbelieveable. The magic show and especially the Michael Jackson show is something you wouldn't want to miss! Food (& drink) was available 24 hrs a day. The swimup bar was the best! The service was always pleasing. Unfortunately, we as a group, was spaced out all over the resort and not one of us had a bad room. Being all inclusive is the ONLY way to go!

Thought the hotel overall was beautiful, internal workings, however, need a lot of adjusting. Most of the staff is very helpful, but, some are slower than molasses and just rude. Hotel is overbooked which is a huge issue w/beach and pool chair. I would get the the pool at 4 and there wouldn't be one seat. On vacation that shouldn't happen. The beds where hard and the comforter is not at all comfortable.

Wonderful Vacation

My sister and I stayed at the Punta Cana Grand in February of 2006. We had a wonderful time and cannot say enough about the hospitality of the people there.
Ourt room was very nice and the restraunts we just great. I can seriously say I would certainly stay here again if I got the chance.

Nice Facility, False Offers

My girlfriend and I were there this past July. The facility is great and the staff friendly. However if you are looking for hot water forget it since it's rarely available, especially in their new building. Also, they overbooked and offered us to go to another hotel, the Catalonia and gave us 4 free nights to return within a year. When we returned I immediately faxed in a request to return June 28 - July 2, 2007. The first request was 11 months prior to our requested date so I assumed I was in for sure. After sending four fax requests and numerous emails they finally responded the end of August stating the only availability for the free nights is the first week of December! DO NOT ACCEPT THEIR FREE NIGHT RETURN OFFER SINCE YOU'LL NEVER BE ABLE TO USE IT!!!!
