Caribbean Village Club on the Green is a short 20 minute ride from the Puerto Plata airport on the northern coast of the Dominican Republic. Located in the heart of the Playa Dorada complex, this resort consists of 336 rooms in over 45 two-story, pastel-hued villas. Spread over 16 lush, tropical acres and bordering the championship golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones. (AKA Caribbean Village Club on the Green)

 For sports and activities, Club on the Green has it all including six hard clay tennis courts for day or night play, windsurfing, snorkeling, sailing, archery, volleyball, bicycling and scuba clinics. Rest up for the nightlife by the impressive beach or relax with a cocktail at one of the many bars around the resort. Traveling with children? No problem. The Kid’s Club has a variety of supervised activities to entertain children from 9am to 9pm.

What to expect: Popular with Dominican families for weekend visits, the resort serves an international clientele seeking a moderately priced Caribbean getaway.
Amenity highlights: A quaint tractor-pulled tram transports guests all day between hotel and the beach, which is furnished with lounges and served by a bar and a fast-food restaurant that are both part of the All-Inclusive Plan. Walking to the beach takes 10 minutes. At the hotel are two small pools, one for activities and the other a "quiet pool" for relaxing. |
 The beach club has an extensive array of water-sports including kayaking, snorkeling boogie boarding, wind-surfing, and sailing. The resort also features an on-site tennis academy. (Fees may apply.) |
 This resort offers 336 rooms in two-story villas. The villas are located on 16 acres of tropical vegetation, bordering a championship golf course. Rooms and suites all have furnished balconies or patios with views of the resort’s gardens or the golf course. Decor is tropical plantation–style, with pink walls, red terra cotta–tile floors, dark-wood and rattan furnishings, and floral-print bedspreads and draperies. Contemporary bathrooms include tub/shower combinations. Rooms are available only in the All-Inclusive Plan.
