We were very disappointed with our week at the Barcelo Cariebe. The check-in was terrible-2 staff to check in 50 people, no lines-the staff was running back and forth and english was very poor. The staff was basically unfriendly-very few smiles, gave them tips-some thank-yous some not. Shows were boring. Meals were all industrial strength cooked.
The resort was filled with young, smoking, drunk, loud, rude french Canadians. The rooms were old and badly needed updating. The beach and scenery were beautiful. I would suggest another resort !!
