The Barceló Bávaro Caribe Beach is one of the 5 hotels in the Barceló Bávaro Beach Resort, the only hotel complex situated on Playa Bávaro, in the Punta Cana region in the eastern Dominican Republic.

 The hotel is situated right on the fine, white sands of Playa Bávaro Beach, considered to be one of the ten finest beaches in the world. The 3 kilometer stretch of tropical beach, enclosed by a coral reef, forms a natural swimming pool of turquoise blue water, revealing a wonderful submarine world beneath the surface.
Guests at the Barceló Bávaro Caribe Beach are offered a wide variety of facilities and services at the hotel, and they also have access to the services offered in the rest of the complex as part of the "Barceló All Inclusive" program, one of the most complete packages of its kind in the Caribbean.
Catering to an international clientele (possibility of topless sunbathing) of couples and families, the Barceló Bávaro Resort comprises five All-Inclusive hotels, a casino, a golf course, and a large convention center linked by complimentary motorized shuttle "trains" running from 8 AM to 4 AM (schedule subject to change).
This 401-room hotel lies on the beach near the resort's southern end.
Guests of this hotel may eat at all All-Inclusive plan restaurants in four of the hotels. (Two fine-dining restaurants are not covered by the All-Inclusive plan.) However, guests must pay for their meals at the Barceló Bávaro Palace Hotel's restaurants and La Fuente restaurant. Guests of all hotels may drink at all bars and discos within the resort.
Guests of each hotel enjoy access to the entire resort's recreation and entertainment facilities and activities, including pools, water sports, land sports, children's clubs, and open-air theaters for nightly shows.
Barceló Bávaro Golf Hotel is 200m (219 yds) from the beach along the golf course near the resort's western boundary. It offers 126 guestrooms.
Barceló Bávaro Beach Hotel is located on the beach in the resort's center. It offers 600 guestrooms.
Barceló Bávaro Casino Hotel, 300m (328 yds) from the beach, is flanked by the golf course. The hotel contains the resort's 24-hour casino and the air-conditioned theater for the musical show Tropicalissimo. It offers 236 guestrooms.
Barceló Bávaro Palace Hotel is a beachfront hotel adjacent to the convention center at the resort's northern end, away from the other hotels. It offers 558 guestrooms.
Amenity highlights: A lagoon-style pool encircling a sunbathing island measures approximately 68.5m by 68.5m (225 ft by 225 ft). The resort is located along a 3-km (2-mi) stretch of light-sand beach washed by the clear Atlantic Ocean. The hotel supplies kayaks, pedal boats, snorkeling gear, and small sailboats. The hotel is just 20 km from Punta Cana International Airport, 190 km from the Las Américas International Airport and 200 kilometers from the capital of Santo Domingo, declared a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site in 1990.
Costal areas enjoy a pleasant and warm tropical climate, with temperatures ranging from 22 to 30şC throughout the year.

 Flanked by padded lounge chairs, a lagoon-style pool encircling a sunbathing island measures approximately 68.5m by 68.5m (225 ft by 225 ft). Adjacent is a 15m (50-ft) oval pool for toddlers. Guests also enjoy access to the pools at the four companion hotels. The resort is located along a 3-km (2-mi) stretch of 32-km (20-mi) Punta Cana Beach, where light-colored sand meets the Atlantic Ocean.
The hotel supplies kayaks, pedal boats, and snorkeling gear. Windsurfers, sailboats, and speed boats may be rented. For surcharges, the resort's water-sports operator also offers parasailing, banana-boating, tubing, fishing, glass-bottom-boat trips, scuba-diving instruction/certification classes, and scuba-diving and snorkeling excursions.
