 A large activities pool receives sun all day. But in the afternoons, many guests prefer a shady deck surrounding a rock-lined "quiet pool" with swim-up bar. Next to this pool, an eight-person spa offers convivial, cool-water soaking. Many guests also play the adjacent, 18-hole Campo de Golf course. One of its fairways lies between the resort's buildings and a long beach. (Golf fees are extra and are not part of the All-Inclusive Plan.)

Driving directions from Puerto Plata International Gregorio Luperón Airport: Outside the airport, turn right and continue straight on the main highway, Hwy 5, to the resort area of Playa Dorada. Turn right into Playa Dorada and follow signs to the hotel.
Getting there: The best way is by taxis which charge fares in the $16–$25 range. Rental cars and limousines are also more than $36. Fees subject to change without notice. Rental cars are available online.
