 Located approximately 60 minutes east of the Puerto Plata International Airport on the North coast of the Dominican Republic, Allegro Playa Grande formerly known as Caribbean Village Playa Grande offers a full range of activities and services to satisfy even the most demanding vacationer. This scenic resort sits dramatically atop a cliff and boasts a spectacular view of the white sands of Playa Grande. The idyllic location is also home to one of the Caribbean's top-rated golf courses. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, this challenging course is a golfer's paradise with 12 of its 18 holes bordering the ocean. |
 This resort offers numerous recreation opportunites as part of the All Inclusive plan, including volleyball, archery, beach soccer, bicycle rentals, and three lighted tennis courts. Indoor options include table tennis, darts, billiards, playing cards, board games, and fitness center. Non-motorized water sports and SCUBA lessons in the pool are also included in the All Inclusive Plan.
An 18-hole golf course is adjacent to the hotel (surcharge for use). The recreational activities listed below are available either on site or near the hotel; fees may apply. |
 This resort offers 300 guestrooms in low-rise buildings set atop a cliff over Playa Grande. All rooms have furnished balconies with views of the resort’s garden or the ocean. Amenities include air conditioning, ceiling fans, and individual climate control. Bathrooms all have shower/tub combinations. Rooms are available only in the All Inclusive Plan.

Miranda's - Serving Brazilian cuisine and featuring outdoor barbecues, gala dinners, and Dominican theme nights. Dinner only.
Beach Café Bar - Beachfront, serving drinks, light lunches, and snacks.
Main Bar - Located by the pool, offering cocktails, juice, and soft drinks.
