 Located in the Nature Isle of the Caribbean, Dominica, TiPawadi Guest House is situated in the peaceful and quiet community of River Estate, Canefield. Surrounded by lush forestry, the Guest House is less than 5 minutes away from a cool, clear river where guests can enjoy the warm weather of this paradise like island. The pure natural environments offers guests a sweet escape from worry and trouble. Friendly service and conveniency is one of the primary goals we aim for in satisfying guests. Ultimately, we ensure that guests are left with a positive remembrance of their stay here.
The Guest House is also located less than 15 minutes away from the main town of Roseau. This means that guests have easy access to the main area of all activities and shopping. While offering guests relaxing and comfortable rooms, we also promise fair and unbeatable prices. The guest house currently houses, 5 single rooms, 1 double room, 1 studio apartment and 2 apartments.
All rooms are fully equipped with hot water, internet access, air conditioning, 1 TV, 1 Fridge, 1 Closet, 1 Sofa/Chair, 1 DVD Player, 1 Coffee maker, 1 DOUBLE BED, Kitchen Utensils, 1 Ceiling/wall Fan, 1 Microwave Oven, 1 Dinning Table/Desk, and 1 Iron and Ironing Board.
Additionally, apartments contain 2 bedroom each with one double bed, one bathroom, a kitchen and dining area and a living room.

 Just next to the Guest House itself lies a clear and cool river less than 2 minutes away. The river has shallow areas which would suit children as well as basins for the adults.
Down the road less than 5 minutes away stands the Old Sugar Mill, used by the slaves long ago. On entering the Guest House area visitors will view this building just next the road.
The Old Mill, about a 5 minute drive away, is located around the junction of the main road and RIver Estate (Guest House Street). This building offers many cultural showcases.
There are several beaches found in the neighboring areas and villages.
MIddleham Falls, the tallest waterfall on the island, can be accessed by a short drive from the Guest House, before guests proceed on the 45 minute adventurous hike to the waterfall itself.
The Capital Town itself, Roseau, is less than a 20 minute drive away and offers many cultural and non cultural activities to island visitors. |

DIRECTIONS:
If you are driving from the Airport or Ferry, once you get to Canefield, request directions to River Estate Street or the Old Mill Culture Center, where hospitable locals will be happy to point you in the street's direction. You are required to take a left if you are driving towards Roseau, or a right if driving from Roseau, into River Estate Street. Continue going straight until you get to the end of the street where there are 3 entrances, and a sign on the left pointing to Middleham Falls. This is not the way you are heading. Instead, take the road to the extreme right which leads to Marinor Enterprises. Pass this building and continue driving until you are able to see a 3 story building which is the Guest House.
Airport - Currently, the Guest House does not provide pickup services, but to make it easier for you, we can arrange for a taxi service to pick you up from the Airport. You will need to pay the taxi directly. If you are arriving from Melville Hall Airport, about an hour's drive to the Guest House, the taxi service would be about US $25 per person. If you are arriving from Canefield Airport, then the cost will be significantly less since it is only about 15 minutes away. Please let us know what you decide at least a week prior to your arrival, so that we can make the necessary arrangements.
Ferry - If you are arriving on the Ferry in Roseau, you should ask someone for directions to Canefield or the Canefield Bus Stop. The trip requires some form of transportation as it is a 10 minute drive. Please request to be taken to Canefield, River Estate. You can then follow the directions as given above.
