 As a guest of the Lions Dive & Beach Resort you will receive an I.D. card upon check in. This card gives you free entrance to the Lions Dive Beach in front of the hotel and to Curaçao's largest white sand beach named "Seaquarium Beach", located next to the hotel. The beach is open from 8.00 AM till 6.00 PM. On the Lions Dive Beach, beach chairs for guests are free and on Seaquarium Beach they are available for a small consideration.
The management of the Lions Dive & Beach Resort is well aware that tourism can only survive in a world where good care is taken of nature and the environment and where the social and cultural context are valued.
Therefore the Lions Dive & Beach Resort tries to minimize its impacts on the environment by saving energy and water, and by reducing and carefully processing waste and waste water. The tropical nature is proudly reflected in our garden.

What to expect: Scuba enthusiasts come to the resort for its full-service dive center and clear waters. Families are attracted by the calm-water, child-friendly lagoon in front of the resort and the proximity to the Curaçao Sea Aquarium. Recipient of a Green Globe Award for its environmental sensitivity, the resort employs solar and wind power for some of its energy needs. Plants and trees are identified by botanical signs.
Amenity highlights: Lions Dive & Beach Resort faces a 600-m (656-yd) beach of ivory-colored sand along the Caribbean Sea. Furnished with padded lounges and thatched shades, the section in front of the resort is reserved for guests. Breakwaters create a calm-water swimming-and-snorkeling lagoon along the entire beach. A full-service dive center rents snorkeling gear and offers scuba instruction/certification, and scuba/snorkeling excursions. The resort has two small pools, one secluded on a hillside.

 The resort faces its own private stretch of Sea Aquarium Beach (also known as Mambo Beach), where ivory-colored sand meets the Caribbean Sea. Along the entire beach, breakwaters create a calm-water lagoon ideal for swimming and snorkeling. A full-service dive center rents snorkeling gear and offers scuba instruction/certification and scuba excursions. Deep-sea-fishing charters pick up guests at the dive center's docks.
The resort has a 10.75-m (35-ft) pool adjacent to Nemo Restaurant and a 9.25-m (30-ft) oval pool secluded on a hillside above the dive center. Sundecks around both pools are furnished with padded lounge chairs. An independently operated fitness center provides yoga, aerobics, and other workout classes that are complimentary for guests, as is use of fitness equipment. |
 Lions Dive & Beach Resort has been built in a typical Dutch Caribbean style, with 2 and 3 floors surrounded by a tropical garden. You can reach our private beach from any spacious room or luxury apartment in a matter of moments.
Most of our rooms have a view of the sea.
All rooms have a private bathroom with shower or bath, balcony or terrace, air conditioning, ceiling fan, shutters, 2 double beds or 1 king-size bed, cooler, safety deposit box (charge US$ 1,50 per night), cable color television, direct dial telephone and high-speed internet access. All electrical outlets are 220 Volt / 50 cycles.
* Lions Dive & Beach Resort has 3 different room categories:
* Run of the House (ROH); rooms with garden, pool or street view
* Oceanview (OCV); rooms with a view of the ocean
* Oceanfront (OF); rooms directly located at the beach and ocean
Wheelchair accesible rooms and family rooms with connecting doors (with or without kitchenette) are also available.
All our rooms have a maximum capicity of 4 persons per room. Children under 12 years old stay in their parents rooms for free.
Baby cots and baby baths are available at no extra charge.

Lions Dive & Beach Resort is very proud on the 6 luxury apartments, which have been finished november 2005. The apartments are located directly at the beach, with magnificent oceanfront view, and feature:

Ocean Encounters' "One Stop Dive Shop" philosophy allows divers the opportunity to dive the entire island. Experiences like Mushroom Forest, Klein Curacao, Superior Producer and Tugboat are available right outside your hotel door. Just off the Lions Dive beach is the famous Stella Maris reef. It's a beautiful shore dive that is home to a missing shipwreck found by Ocean Encounters' Technical Exploration Team.
Our dive boats are spacious and include all the safety equipment required for an enjoyable excursion. We include rinse tanks for masks and camera's and one Divemaster for every ten divers. Our Divemasters are experts in the marine wildlife in the area. They will make sure you don't miss any seahorses, frogfish, turtles, green morays, or anything else that moves under the water. We have a set schedule of boat dives and trips to make sure you don't miss any of the beautiful dive sites Curaçao has to offer.
Ocean Encounters is also the place to learn. We offer PADI diving education for the non-diver to Instructor level and Technical training. No matter where you are in your diving life we have something to teach you. All of our instructors give the best quality education available on the island. You'll learn with the most up-to-date materials in the most modern classrooms available.

Curaçao is located in the Southern Caribbean and is famous for its rich underwater world. Above water, however, it is also breathtakingly lovely.
It takes about 20 minutes to reach Lions Dive & Beach Resort from Hato airport and about 5 minutes to reach Willemstad from the resort. Willemstad, with its original colonial architecture, is on the Unesco World Heritage List.
Lions Dive & Beach Resort, located directly at the National Curaçao Underwater Park, has its own private beach with plenty of palm trees, lounge beach chairs and beds, beach huts and sunshades. It is also very friendly for children; children can play at the beach and in the sea in shallow water.
