We chose Breezes as a rsort that had divng and was family oriented and within a budget. We got four rooms. The penthouse for my friend and his fiance - the hot water did not work in the entire building the first three days - which included the superior room they rented for two teenage daughters. Hotel manahement did not mention this at check in and offered no compensation - like some spa treaments (spa staff were good and professional).
My brother got a beach front room which he was happy with - though it was right next to the place where the dispensed bach towels and was near one of the bars - so it was a bit noisey and had a lot of traffic in front of his porch.
My girlfriend and I had the worst experience. First room had several hudred ants in the sink ad on the bathroom wall. We refused to move into that room. Waited 2 hours with our lugga. Next room was so musty that we were both sneezing in minutes. I am not usually a complanier - but it was bad. That put us in another room for one night. Next day they offered us a room all the way a the far end of te resort - a very nice room which we enjoyed for the week. Only problem was that the facility uses a fogging machine to control mosquitoes down that end - they fogged at 5:00 and the pool area is closed. They seemto use a different method up by the restaraunts. The pool at ou end also had quite a bad smell - not in the pool but by the filtering system - which managemen came to look at but never repaired.
In the end - were given a couple of free massages and a 24% refund on our rooms - it was that bad.
The food was good - Japense restaraunt is the best. Buffetis stanard fare. Drinks were not the best - hard liquor was watered - beer was fine.
Diving was mediocre.

To the good side, snorkeling on site is quite good, you can drink the water anywhere and for a small resort, the food selection is pretty good. However, buffet service is very poor to non-existant. We found a couple times, the fastest way to get a clean table was to do it ourselves. The beach loungers do not lay flat so laying on your stomach is very uncomfortable and they are covered in a dark blue fabric that gets scorchingly hot. Also, they have paved all the walkways with asphalt which also gets way too hot. Make sure you have water shoes for the beach. It is coral sand, but a lot of it is too coarse for feet used to shoes.

At first, we had a few problems, and the pool our eldest child was so looking forward to was under repair, but the hotel manager took care of those things for us. The pool would be really nice when it was completed, but that unfortunately was a few days after we left. Other than that, we had a great time. The food was good, the beach grill made wonderful grilled fish/chicken sandwiches, and we all enjoyed virgin pina colada/strawberry daquiris... The restaurants were good as well. The maitre-d' at the Pastafari knew our name the second time we went there. Our daughter loved the circus, the boys enjoyed the windsurf boards and snorkelling. It was a very nice trip overall. The staff was very friendly and a lot of fun to be around. Our intro to scuba class was wonderful as well. All inclusive meant just that.... we didn't have any extra cost at the resort.

SUPER CLUBS BREEZES IN CURACAO IS THE PERFECT PLACE FOR A FAMILY VACATION, YOU CAN DO AS MUCH OR AS LITTLE AS YOU WANT. THE RESORT AND THE STAFF ARE TOP NOTCH, TAKING CARE OF YOUR EVERY NEEDS. THERE FOOD AND TOP SHELF ALCOHOL ARE PLENTIFUL, THEY HAVE A KIDS CLUB LOADED WITH ACTIVITIES AND FUN FOR KIDS OF ALL AGES,
AT NIGHT THEY HAVE A HOUSE BAND OR TALENT SHOW, KARAOKE, STAFF SHOWS, THEY CHANGE IT UP EVERY NIGHT.
IF YOU LIKE TO SHAKE YOUR BOOTIE THE MOMBO NEXT DOOR IS THE PLACE. CURACAO IS LOADED WITH HISTORY AND LOTS OF STUFF TO DO. THE DIVING IS WORTH THE TRIP ALONE, SHOPPING IS GREAT, PEOPLE ARE NICE, NO ONE BOTHERS YOU.
YOU CAN FEEL SAFE GOING ANYWHERE IN CURACAO (DIDN'T LEAVE THE RESORT AT NIGHT - SO I DONT KNOW)BUT GREAT VACATION FOR THE BUCK ! GOING BACK AGAIN ~~ GARY ~~
