Great Hotel

We have been going to Cozumel since 1984, and have been staying in this hotel for the past 13 years. We usually come down with a group of 20-30 people, about half are divers. Everyone in our group always has enjoyed the stay. The staff are all very friendly and always remember us every year. My son has been with us every year since he was 16months old (he is now 10). I feel it is a very safe place for kids. The beach area across the street was still getting fixed when we were there this time, but you could go to the beach club they own.
I would recomend this hotel. I would also recomend their dive shop. The staff for the dive shop are all friendly and make your dive experience a great one, (we have NEVER felt like we are on cattle boats) they are very patient and always have fun on the boats.

Good for the Boys

I have stayed at this hotel twice while in Cozumel. This is a great place to stay if you are just diving, however, I wouldn't suggest the hotel dive club unless you like cattle boats...
There is no real beach, just a crappy thing across the street (Which is fine if you spend most of your time diving or drinking).
The staff was good and place was pretty clean (For Mexico). I would not suggest that you take someone who doesn't dive here, they will be bored to death...
It is an excellent value for the money, sleep there and do everything else, somewhere else. You will go home happy
