 Sunset House is located just 1 mile south of the capital of The Cayman Islands, George Town and offers a great central location.
If you're a diver or a non-diver looking for things to do during your stay on Grand Cayman, Sunset House has everything you need. Easy access to the downtown shopping core...but far enough away that you don't get stuck in traffic or people. Easy access to the south side of the island, 10 minute car rid from 7-mile beach and it is a great place to start an island tour.
Of course the diving is what we are famous for. Sunset House boats 5 custom dive boats with access to any site on the island (weather dependant), the best shore diving on the island that includes, Amphitrite the Islands only resident 9 foot tall mermaid, the wreck of the Nicholson, access to the Cayman wall and a variety unequaled anywhere else on the island.
The dive shop is a full service facility with Sting Ray City, MANTA all day trips, afternoon deep dives to the Carrie Lee, 2 tank dives every morning 365 days a year, night dives and more. Sunset Divers will also help you train at any level you are interested in from a resort course to a mixed gas rebreather program including specialties, Dive Master programs, Instructor, and Instructor Trainer programs. You name it, we can help! |

Sunset House has great snorkeling, a great bar and a great pool as we have mentioned. If you want to go for a tour, Grand Cayman as an Island has some great things to offer.
You can take a dive on the Atlantis Submarine, go on an island tour, rent a car and go exploring, rent a bike, check out the botanical gardens and so much more...
When you're ready to go we have Island maps right in the lobby along with a whole rack of pamphlets showing you where to go on your tour. If you want any other suggestions feel free to ask any of the front desk or dive staff. |
 This hotel offers 57 guestrooms distributed among several two-story buildings. Courtyard rooms have tropical furnishings, tile floors, and walk-in patio doors. Balconies, with garden views, are shared among three or four rooms. All have cable TV, air conditioning, phones, and private bathrooms. Dial-up Internet access can be arranged (surcharge).
Courtyard Rooms
One of the most popular rooms for "cost conscious" guests that we have to offer is the Courtyard Room. These rooms have a walk-in patio door and come with 2 Queen beds or 1 King-size bed, digital cable TV, air conditioning and private bathrooms. All of the rooms at Sunset House have data ports in the telephones. Most courtyard rooms can access the wireless network.
Oceanview Rooms
Our Ocean View Rooms are located on the North end of the property on the sea side of the resort. The Oceanview room offers more space with 2 Queen beds or 1 King-size and 1 Queen bed, digital cable TV and a private balcony looking out through the palm trees and the water.
The Sunset House Suites
This room has 2 double beds in the bedroom, a full kitchen, living room and dining room. Great for groups of 4 or anyone that wants to make a few home cooked meals on their holidays.
The Apartment also adjoins two ocean view rooms on either side to really expand your "big" family.

The suites are spacious. They offer lots of room, a cushy sofa, 2 queen size beds, digital cable TV, fridge, microwave, bistro table for four, large private bathroom and a private balcony.

 SeaHarvest Restaurant - Guests can choose between an air-conditioned dining room and poolside patio at this casual, family-friendly restaurant. It offers an international menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
My Bar - Set next to the water’s edge, this open-air, thatched-roof bar is a popular spot for food and drinks after a dip or a dive. Open for lunch and dinner, with tropical drinks, beer, and other beverages. |
The Sunset Divers Dive Shop is located on the Sunset House property and offers some of the best diving on the island. The dive shop is open Monday though Saturday 7:30-5:30 and Sunday 7:30-5:00. The air conditioned dive shop offers a full line of rental gear, the best t-shirts on the island, 2 tanks dives every day, Sting Ray City trips, night dives, shore diving and of course the World Famous MANTA 3-tank all day dive trip.
If you wish to continue your diving education during your stay with us, our customer service focused Sunset Diver's dive staff are not only here to take you to your favorite dive sites, but are all certified instructors, eager to attend to your diving academia. Some bright new faces are here this year, ready to meet your needs and expectations! Sunset House offers training from respected agencies like PADI, NAUI, SSI, DAN, IANTD, TDI, SDI, and DSAT. We even offer Divemaster Internships.
Sunset House has something on Grand Cayman that most dive operators don't. That something is our very own - on the property - don't have to go anywhere but here - world class - shore diving. Unlimited shore diving is included in all dive packages. When you get back from the morning two tank dive - have a quick lunch - and you can just jump right back into the Caribbean waters. Afternoon dives, night dives what ever you want! The dive shop has a dive site map and the dive staff would be happy to brief you on the highlights of the dive so you don't miss them. |
