This wonderfully charming Caymanian style home is nestled on half an acre of tropical paradise on exclusive Rum Point Drive. The home is poised on stilts to catch the constant trade wind tropical breezes, ocean sounds, and wonderful views of the Caribbean Sea, only 300 feet away. This villa is the perfect vacation paradise for those seeking seclusion, peace, and tranquility. Located only 3 minutes from Rum Point, where you will find great restaurants, beach bar, snorkeling, scuba diving, Stingray City tours, water sports, and hourly ferry service to the Seven Mile Beach area. Chisholm’s grocery store and several of the best restaurants on Grand Cayman are only a few minutes drive away.
Upstairs, Seaside’s elevated wrap-around viewing terraces and living area face northward, towards the Caribbean Sea, allowing for spectacular views of Cayman’s world famous sunrises and sunsets. Three sets of French doors can be opened to enjoy the winds and sounds of the ocean. The terrace is a great location for your morning coffee or evening desserts. Be sure to be on the lookout for the Cayman parrots flying and talking in the sea grape trees that surround Seaside. A fully equipped kitchen, dining area, laundry room, 2 queen size bedrooms with en suite baths, and the loft area with two twin beds also occupy this elevated floor. This entire floor has beautiful vaulted plank board ceilings, ceramic tile floors, air conditioning, ceiling fans and plantation shutters for controlling sunlight. Seaside is elegantly outfitted with quality furniture, appliances, and accessories, providing for all the comforts of home.
Downstairs, under the main living area, is a wonderful 900 square foot wrap-around screened patio for entertaining after sunset. This patio features a master bedroom, sitting area, additional dining area, barbecue grill, hammock, and another sitting area to accommodate several groups of people. In the center of the patio is another fully equipped kitchen for those fish fry’s, barbecue dinners, or morning breakfasts. The patio is fully furnished and has six ceiling fans located throughout for your comfort. The screened porch area provides access to an exquisite master bedroom/bathroom suite with spectacular views of the manicured tropical flower garden pathway in the back of the property. This downstairs area will provide for evenings of fun with friends and family.
