Here at Sam McCoy's Diving and Fishing Lodge, we offer the experience of a Caymanian family, and are widely regarded as the pioneers of diving in Little Cayman with the establishment of the first shore based diving operation well over ten years ago. With combined experience of over 40 years in the diving industry, our dive masters are all Caymanian and have a wealth of experience diving in Little Cayman.
Little Cayman still has the atmosphere of an island that time has forgotten, and those who have visited Little Cayman find it difficult to express the experience in words. The crystal clear waters, world class diving, deserted beaches, bountiful fish, wildlife, vegetation and the natural relaxed lifestyle, combine to make this vacation destination unforgettable.
Sam McCoy's is the only lodge located on the Little Cayman's North Shore which is world famous for two features: Bloody Bay Wall and shore diving from Jackson's Point. The diving on Little Cayman has become world famous since the discovery of the pristine walls and coral gardens at Bloody Bay and Jackson Bight in the late 1970's. Over twenty spectacular dive sites await you in these two areas, and there are also other dive sites including a wreck dive of the Soto Trader on the South side of the island. Our comfortable, customized, dive boats (30' 'Caymaniac' and 28' 'Caymanak') will take you to any of these dive sites in less than 10 minutes.
Our lodge consists of fully air-conditioned rooms with private bathrooms. After a day of diving, you can relax on the deck of our swimming pool and jacuzzi or enjoy our multi-person hammock shed with a good book. Take in gorgeous Caribben sunsets from our seaside patio bar, while enjoying your favourite cocktail. Meals are served family style in the dining room of the main lodge, and consists of international and Caymanian cuisine. You'll enjoy this good home cooking after a day of diving.
