Cayman Brac is a wonderful island to visit and has a host of activities for all ages and interests. The clear calm waters that surround the island host a pristine reef which sports great visibility and a profusion of fish life. Snorkelers and divers can enjoy the reef from shore or boat.
The Brac is also well known for its bird watching activities. The pond area provides a wonderful venue for wetland birds. The inland birds such as parrots, boobies, and flycatchers can be seen along the trails and nature preserves around the island.
Brac is Gaelic for bluff or cliff and offers some of the best climbing opportunities in the Caribbean with spectacular cliffs rising up above the ocean and reefs below.
Brac's caves are a must visit while on the island. These caves provided shelter for the islanders during the hurricanes in the early 1930's and today provide an interesting waypoint on a driving or cycling tour.

Cayman Brac itself boasts some of the best diving in the world. The limestone island rises almost 4000 fathoms from the ocean floor, providing spectacular wall diving and excellent visibility. Rodales Scuba Diving has consistently rated Cayman Brac in the top 5 'Best of Caribbean' diving locations. Calm dive conditions can generally be found regardless of the weather due to the east-west orientation of the island. Cayman Brac's close proximity to Little Cayman also affords the diver the ability to experience the great diving both islands have to offer.
Marine life on the Brac is quite varied. Large pelagics can often be seen swimming off of the wall during our deeper dives. The shallow dives offer the opportunity to see eagle rays, sting rays and a host of other interesting marine creatures. Shore diving is another great way to see the underwater creatures that the Brac has to offer. There are plenty of great shore diving and snorkeling sites on the island. |
This complex offers one-, two-, or three-bedroom condominium units. Most rooms have queen beds, but specific bedding varies from unit to unit. All units have separate living rooms, balconies or patios, and at least two bathrooms. Full kitchens include refrigerators, microwaves, ranges, appliances, dishes, cookware, and utensils. Cable TVs offer complimentary HBO.

Relax in one of Cayman Brac's newest beach front condominiums. These one, two and three bedroom units are located adjacent to a wonderful blue lagoon and come with a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, cable TV, onsite laundry and optional maid service.
A large freshwater pool makes up the centerpiece of the complex. Dive boats provide pickup service at the dock located directly in front of the condos. The condos are strategically located close to restaurants, shopping and banking services.
Each spacious 1, 2 or 3 bedroom condo apartment is completely furnished in tasteful and bright Caribbean decor, and offers spectacular views of the beach and Caribbean Sea.
There is a sofa bed in the living room as well as 1 or 2 full bedrooms. You can enjoy the sunset from your own private patio or balcony. All units have central air conditioning, ceiling fans, cable TV, and fully equipped kitchens. |

Reef Divers' main operation is at the west end of the island just a short hike down from Brac Caribbean and Carib Sands. Reef Divers provides pickup service to the condos and will send a vehicle to transport you to the departure dock. You won't have to lift more than your wetsuit!
With well over 70 sites between Cayman Brac and Little Cayman there is no end of diving experiences. The sites run the gammit from large wrecks like the 330 foot Captain Keith Tibbetts, to stunning walls on Bloody Bay through unique animal encounters like Tarpon Reef. There is even the Lost City of Atlantis on Cayman Brac! This site designed by a local artist Foots will eventually have more than one-hundred pieces of original sculpture cast from molds using a blend of materials, crushed rock, sand and cement.
Most dives are done at mooring balls to protect our reefs. You will never have to worry about repeating a dive site (unless you absolutely want to!). Reef Divers offers a 2 tank morning dive and a 1 tank afternoon dive each day. The morning dives start with a wall dive (maximum depth 110') followed by a reef dive after a surface interval. The afternoon dive will have you visiting another one of Brac's critter packed reefs. Dive computers are allowed and encouraged (but each member of the buddy team must have one). |
