wonderful hotel and staff

myself and wife and child ariived at this hotel on may 25,04 until june 8,04 and all the hotel staff was wonderful. the rooms was big and clean with new A/C units, the food was good and the pool area was clean and kept fun by the entertainment staff. over all this is a nice hotel not a 5 star, but they tried to treat us like it was.

Disappointed

We took our three daughters and grandson to the Aquamarina in Jan 2004 and were very disappointed. The rooms were small, not much atmosphere or beach and the food was unacceptable. Nothing was identifed and everything was cold. We contacted our travel agent and moved to another hotel.

ALL INCLUSIVE OH REALLY

The Iland itself is lovely but that hotel lets it down.
when you pay for All-Inclusive you expect the food to be of a certain standard, the staff were lovely, the accomodation was clean and well kept but the food was so bad
Breakfast consisted of eggs,eggs and eggs, lunch finished at 3pm then you were served dried out chips by the pool, evening meal was left over lunch with a different sauce.
All in all the Aquamarina was a lovely hotel but they do need to put more effort into what they feed the guests, we don't pay for left over food and repetitive breakfasts... most of us like variety hence why we actually get on a plane and get out of London.
