Through the years Captain Don's Habitat, evolved into a world renowned resort catering to today's most demanding diver and vacationers. Set amidst lush green gardens with colorful decor and landscaping we now offer the comfort of 3 deluxe varieties of accommodations, fresh water pool, great dinning and entertainment options, friendly service, and of course the best dive in the Caribbean 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.
At a very early stage Captain Don realized the importance of conservation of Bonaire's beautiful underwater resources. His endeavors led to the creation of the permanent mooring system and eventually to the Bonaire Marine Park. For his efforts in marine environment conservation Captain Don has received many awards and recognition all over the world.
Today Bonaire is at the forefront of environmental conservation. At Captain Don's Habitat we're very proud of this legacy and we continue to play a very active role by assisting environmental groups and the local government in ensuring sound conservation policies and the sustainable management of Bonaire's natural resources. |
Oceanfront dining at its best!! The experienced chefs and waiters in this idyllic setting ensure that all meals are a true pleasure. We offer an international menu, daily local specials, and our Pizza Temple with authentic Italian thin crust pizza and a wide assortment of specialty pizzas and toppings.
Breakfast is served from 7 am to 10 am so whether you’re an early riser ready to catch a morning dive or prefer a more leisurely approach to your vacation you’ll get your eggs cooked fresh to order. The buffet includes a wide array of fresh tropical fruits, breads, and cereals. Lunch is enjoyed between 11:30 am and 2 pm with delicious salads, sandwiches, burgers, and snacks. Evenings, relax to another perfect sunset and enjoy a la carte dining Tuesday through Sunday. Everyone loves Monday night’s "eat as much as you can" BBQ buffet from 7pm until 10pm. No need to worry about reservations for breakfast or lunch, reservations are, however, recommended for dinner. We’re happy to help with any special dietary or menu requests.
Authentic Italian thin crust pizza baked to perfection in a traditional stone oven. Choose from a wide assortment of toppings, create your own or try one of the chef's creation. Great for that in between dive craving or take away for the perfect mid-night snack. Its simply the best pizza on the island.
Whether watching your favorite football team, divers coming and going from the boats or one of our beautiful sunsets...the Deco Stop Bar is a perfect place to review the days events or plan tomorrows

our friendly bartenders have come up with for that day. The Deco Stop Bar is a favorite watering hole for guests and locals alike...you never know who you're going to meet there...who knows...you might even get an autograph from the Captain himself.
