This gracious hotel is situated on a terraced hillside overlooking Hamilton Harbour and is only a short ferry ride away from the City of Hamilton.
The hotel consists of 37 guest rooms and 6 suites located in the Main House, "Harbour", "Lyndham", "West Winds" and "Shoreby" Cottages. All the rooms and suites boast private terraces or balconies overlooking the garden or harbour. Each has been tastefully decorated and has cable TV, a safety deposit box and coffee service. The hotel also has the distinction of having all the guest rooms wired for High Speed Internet Access, a first for Bermuda. Guest room telephones have voicemail. |

ROCKFISH GRILL
This exciting new restaurant, located in the Main House at Newstead, offers the most spectacular sunsets overlooking Hamilton Harbour. Breakfast is served from 7.00-10.00 am. In the evening enjoy our "Pacific Rim" cuisine featuring flame-grilled steaks and seafood. Saturday evenings showcase the cool jazz of the Max Maybury Quartet. They return on Sunday for our award-winning Sunday Jazz Brunch.
Dress is smart casual.
HAPPY HOUR
Outdoor Event
Friday nights at the Newstead is the place to be during the Summer. Enjoy cocktails with your friends and take in the views across Hamilton Harbour towards the city. Live music from 7.00-10.00 pm. This relaxed atmosphere is the perfect way to spend an evening at Newstead. Dress is casual.
THE MAIN BAR
Enjoy a cocktail in the bar or unwind in the luxurious comfort of the lounge. Bar billiards and a selection of board games are available for our guests' enjoyment.
AFTERNOON TEA
Complimentary afternoon tea is served to our guests in the Conservatory overlooking Hamilton Harbour from 4.00pm - 5.00pm daily. This is the perfect way to relax.
