White Sands Cove Resort is located only a quarter mile from the second largest barrier reef in the world. Thousands of divers visit Belize each year to explore the abundance of underwater life its pristine waters have to offer. Divers can expect to be surrounded by wild dolphin, swarms of horse-eye jacks and dozens of eagle rays while enjoying unparalleled visibility of up to 200 feet. Come and see for yourself why Belize is known as a diver’s paradise!
We have our own dive shop and the most wonderful team of divers, Belize Ocean Divers, who we work with on a daily basis. They run dive and snorkel trips four times daily, at 9:30am, 10:30am, 11:00am, 1:30pm and night diving at 5:00pm. They are a great group of guys, (6 dive masters and 3 boat captains) who have a lot of fun and one of the best safety records on the island. In addition to diving and snorkeling, we also offer resort courses, full certifications and referral courses which begin in our pool and then, right out to the reef your first day! They are one of the few PADI Gold Palm certified dive shops on the island and are certified nitrox divers. The price of a 2-tank dive is only $55.00 USD, includes equipment, and it lasts about 2-1/2 hours. We don’t really offer dive packages per se, but if you do more than five dives with us, the price goes down to $50.00 USD per 2-tank dive. |
