DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Our first time to Belize and we made an awful mistake staying here at White Sands Cove. We were told they have the best beach in Belize (hard to imagine, but our anticipation was that it would be good). This was not the case! It smelled of sewage, ocean grass was growing everywhere and the water seemed murky. The pool was clearer but with goggles on there were many micro-organisms swimming about. You couldn't see the bottom of the pool by the end of our stay! The owners seemed nice enough, although they seemed to forget they are operating a hospitality business. Our family was looking forward to a nice relaxing vacation at a resort where other families or couples stayed with the same intention. A day or two after we arrived we were informed that 30 high school students will be staying there for almost our entire vacation. To top it off, there rates were discounted. Had we known this in advance we would have eliminated this place as one of our choices. Suddenly our quaint little 12 unit resort turned into a youth hostil. There was now no room for us to lay out at the murky pool and the kids above us were up all night sliding furniture around at 2:00AM. We left Ambrigris Caye and went to two other places that were much nicer. However on Ambrigris Caye I would recommend Captian Morgans or Capricorns. These were close to where we stayed and both were very nice and well managed.

Great Place to Vacation

The white Sands Cove was a beautiful place to stay while visiting the island. It was a very short boat ride to town or a casual golf cart trip to town. The north side of the island is very quiet and relaxing .
The accomodations were clean, and beautifully decorated, and the kitchens fully equipped.
The pool was refreshing. Kayaks,Bikes were a great add feature, as well as the pool side bar.
Marilyn & Mark& the staff were great hosts

GREAT GETAWAY!!!

WE HAD A GREAT TIME..SCOTT AND ANA MARIE AND THE BOYS WERE WONDERFUL AND VERY FRIENDLY. FISHING WAS REALLY FUN..CAVE TUBING WAS SOMETHING EVERY ONE MUST DO!!!!
THE ACCOMODATIONS WERE PERFECT..VERY SECLUDED..NO CROWDS. VERY 'UN' TOURISTY!!!
