| **Mata Rocks Resort
Mata Rocks Resort is an intimate beachfront hotel providing personalized service and tropical elegance in a casual relaxed atmosphere. Eleven rooms and six Jr. Suites are attractively decorated with native hardwood, stucco and tile, providing light, airy and comfortable air-conditioned accommodations.
We find it particularly rewarding that all our guests fall in love with the hotel and the location, and when they leave they tell us it is one of the best vacations they have ever had. Our property is located on a wonderful sandy beach and has many tall palm trees. It is a very peaceful serene setting. We have been busy upgrading the hotel and making changes in an effort to enhance what we started with.
Our goal is to keep the hotel as a small intimate resort with personalized service. We enjoy helping the guests plan their tours and activities, as well as socializing with them at the beachfront bar. The staff have become friends with repeat guests and look forward to their return each year. All our friends and family thought we were moving to the tropics and spending our days sitting on the beach under a palm tree with a tropical drink in our hands. Now that most of them have visited us, they realize this is far from the truth. We are enjoying what we are doing and love where we are living. We are very pleased that we made the decision we did and invite everyone to come down and visit with us and explore Belize. |
