St. George's Caye Resort is an exclusive, all-inclusive Canadian owned and operated resort nestled on a private residence island. Though only seven miles by boat from the shores of Belize City, it feels miles away from everything. You will be greeted at the airport by resort staff and whisked away to our island paradise.
There are 12 luxurious cabana built over the water on the lagoon or built on the beach facing the ocean. Our cabanas each have their own veranda and are equipped with air conditioning, mini bars and ceiling fans for your comfort. Full course gourmet meals, appetizers during happy hour, coffee and fresh juice delivered to the door of your cabana each morning will add to the exquisite nature of your stay.
Your stay also includes unlimited hobie cat sailing, kayaking or windsurfing. Be entertained with local musicians, movies on the beach, socializing in the lounge or by watching the moon and the stars.

St. George's Caye Resort offers something rarely seen in dive programs throughout the world. They call it Valet Diving. It refers to the personal attention given to divers with an ideal ratio between instructors and divers. St. George's Caye Resort prefers to have smaller groups that get more personal attention instead of larger groups doing "cattle diving".
If you are a novice diver, or just haven't been diving in a while, instructors will take the time to go over skills with you in the shallows of the ocean to make sure you are 100% comfortable and confident before going on dives. There is no rush with the program - it is done at your pace.
St. George's Caye Resort training facilities for people who want to become certified are ideal. You can dive right away to see if you like it. After teaching you basic skills in shallow water and going over some information that every diver needs to know, you go on a dive with your own instructor as your dive buddy. After this introduction to scuba, you decide if you want to continue training and become a certified diver. Careful not to rush through the course, dive instructors have your safety, confidence and enjoyment first on their minds. What is most important is that when you are certified, St. George's Caye Resort knows that you have gotten the best training for a life long enjoyment of the sport. St. George's Caye Resort's business and reputation are built on the quality of divers that they have been training for over 30 years.
On dives, St. George's Caye Resort does all the work and you have all the fun. All your equipment is checked, prepared, and loaded on the boat... even your mask is cleaned for you. You are assisted with putting on your dive gear before the dive, then each person is assisted with taking off their gear at the end of the dive. At the end of each dive day, the crew will wash all equipment and have it organized and on the boat for the next scheduled dive. Many veteran divers cannot believe the pampering they are given at St. George's Caye Resort. This personalized service has become our signature in the diving world.
For the advanced diver, St. George's Caye Resort offers a day trip to the Lighthouse Reef Atoll to visit the world famous, Blue Hole. Measuring 1000 feet in diameter and 408 feet deep, this sinkhole was made known to the world outside Belize by the explorations of Jacques Cousteau, and many divers come to Belize solely to explore this diving mecca. After the Blue Hole, guests dive two other wall sites at Lighthouse Reef to explore some of the most entrancing marine life the sea has to offer. This full-day trip includes lunch served on the picturesque Half Moon Caye Natural Monument, the exclusive nesting site of some 1500 pairs of Atlantic Red-Footed Booby Birds.
