Just down the illuminated walk from the club house and pool, lie our rooms. All are air-conditioned with a breathtaking view of the Exuma Sound.
The evenings bring mild trade winds and by opening the glass patio door, you will be lulled to sleep by the sounds of the surf.
Each room is appointed with either one king or two queen size beds, Henry Link wicker furniture, top quality bedding, comforters, and pillows, full bath, hairdryer, and terry bath robes.
Just off your private patio are perfectly placed hammocks underneath swaying palms which will enhance relaxation and foster your reconnection with nature. |
Culinary Magic in A Tropical Setting
There’s nothing like sun and sea air to heighten an appetite. That’s why at Hawk’s Nest we take special care to make each dining experience a satisfying one. Our menus highlight the Bahamian’s culinary heritage with a Caribbean twist by taking advantage of the ocean’s abundance. For breakfast, our French Toast – made with thick slices of Bahamian Sweet Bread seasoned with cinnamon and fresh nutmeg, topped with creamy butter and warm maple syrup draws rave reviews.
Lunch includes burgers, quesadillas and fresh Caesar Salads topped with the catch of the day. Mahi Mahi sandwiches and Oven Roasted Turkey Breast sandwiches are also a big hit.
Dinner lets our 4 star rating shine.
Each evening starts with complimentary appetizers at the bar — delectable servings of Wahoo, Mahi Mahi or Yellow Fin Tuna sashimi style, spinach & artichoke dip, puff pastry pizzas or conch fritters will jump start your appetite. EntrÈes include prime cuts of beef, pasta dishes, and fresh seafood, including baked red snapper with lobster stuffing, pork tenderloins, rack of lamb and veal cutlets.
We also serve Bahamian favorites such as cracked conch, steamed fish, grouper fingers, conch salad, peas and rice and seasoned plantains, allowing you to savor the local flavors. Dinners are served in our dining room or make a special reservation to dine out at the pool under the stars. For that special occasion you may choose to dine out on the beach under a thatched tiki hut complete with a beach bonfire during dessert.

The Plane To Sea Pub
located at the marina — is our honor bar. A tradition that is upheld by all Hawk’s Nest’s guests. A great place to get out of the sun during the day or unwind after dinner. Enjoy a game of pool or darts while you mingle with new friends. Both the Clubhouse bar and the Plane To Sea Pub have satellite TV, music for your enjoyment and are stocked with over 45 selections of liquors and beer. There are also Cuban and Dominican cigars for sale from our humidor. |
