Best Beach and Quiet Waters
By: Dave Tibbals from Winchester, TN
Date of Visit: January 2006
Wonderful "Get away from it all" location. No TV, no cell phones, no noisy distractions. It is a marvelously quiet location with breath taking beaches and a caring staff to ensure your tranquil stay is filled with delightful meals and available services to include fishing, snorkling, diving, kiyaking (sp) and hiking.
You will note that there is no glitzy Casino or other manmade nightlife. This is the best place to recharge the batteries by relaxation.
Avoid taking Bahamas Air, if possible, as you may not make your intended time of arrival. Bahamas Air seems to consider it normal not to deliver you on the ticketed date.
We loved it so much, we are making this our annual vacation location, and are headed back in May. See you there!?

PARADISE FOUND
By: Ron Brown from Calgary, Canada
Date of Visit: August 2005
I have travelled all over the Caribbean and seldom visit a resort more than once. I have now found the perfect Tropical Paradise.
Cape Santa Maria Beach Resort is located on Long Island in the southern Bahamas. It is a hidden treasure. Modern Beach front bungalows beautifully appointed and large 1800 sqaure foot - walk on the beach Villas.
Ocean side resturant and bar with extensive menu. I was able to keep in touch in home base as they have FREE high speed internet.
The Beach is the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. The sand is like talcum powder and the water is warm and clean. If you are looking for a first class place to relax and loose the stress in your life. This is the place! I'll be back!

CAPE SANTA MARIA - SECLUDED PARADISE!
By: Anonymous from Victoria, Canada
Date of Visit: April 2003
The Cape is simply heavenly. Miles of white sand and only twenty units, all right at the edge of the ocean and very private. If you're looking for a perfect romantic getaway with lots of peace and quiet, this is your place. The staff are wonderful, the open air bar and restaurant is lovely, and they have plenty of activities if you tire of all the sunbathing on your own private stretch of beach. Diving is incredible (Do the Conception Island trip - 2 dives in a marine park with the most incredible underwater life - I saw my first sea turtle!) Swam for two hours with a wild dolphin in the bay where we stopped to have lunch and saw lots of rays even when just snorkeling. Attention all Canadians - they make Caesars!
Bonefishing, guides, deep sea fishing, snorkel tours, (or on your own just off the beach) This place is an undiscovered, unspoiled, tropical delight with a great, relaxed attitude. I can't wait to go back!
