WERE DISAPOINTED THAT MOST AREAS OF RESORT WERE STILL UNDER RENOVATION AFTER WE HAD BEEN TOLD DIFFERENT. ACCOMODATION NOT UPGRADED AS PROMISED BY RESORT. UPPER POOL BAR VERY SELDOM STAFFED DAY OR NIGHT.
NO WAY IS THE ROAD OUTSIDE SAFE, WE EXPERIENCED HIGH SPEED DRIVING EVERY DAY, NOT CHILD FREINDLY.
VERY LONG DELAYS IN FOOD SERVICE AT HOTEL RESTAURANT, NOT STAFFS FAULT BUT MORE SO DOWN TO LACK OF AMMOUNT OF STAFF. ACTUAL STAFF ARE VERY FREINDLY. A ONCE IN A LIFETIME HOLIDAY JUST BEFORE THE BIRTH OF OUR FIRST CHILD SPOILED. READ SMALL PRINT ON ALL INC PACKAGE BEFORE BOOKING.

Ultimate holiday experience

The best place to stay on the island. We've seen several other low rise hotels but no one is giving such a nice holiday feeling as Amsterdam Manor. Were looking forward to the next time. We'll be back for sure.

Great place to stay

Visit nr. 8 !! The hotel each time gives us a pretty 'home'-feeling. The rooms are very nice, the hotel area is beautiful, clean and a safe place to our children. The beach is the best, and the crew are very nice !!

This hotel is the last hotel on the low rise area. It is a small, quaint european hotel with a fabulous staff that are so friendly and eager to help in any way!
The rooms are clean and spacious...the grounds are beautifully kept....and the beach is the BEST! The palapas are nicely spread out and plenty of space for all the guests...with a wonderful beach bar just steps away from your palapa!
Don't be put off by the beach being 'across the street' -it's a sleepy street and the property is still closer to the beach than the high rise hotels. We're already planning our next trip for next year!
