fantastic holiday

We stayed in the Rex Halcyon. We were shown to our room which wason thebottom floor and led directly onto the pool area. The room was fine but the light in the bathroom did not work properly so we reported it. They offered to move us to another room and was given a choice of room. We ended up staying in a room which had its own sitting room area, dressing area and en suite bathroom and we were not asked to pay extra. It was spotless and cleaned every day. The staff were so lovely. There is a guy on site whop runs his own taxiservice . He is called GIGI and he is absolutely wonderful. So friendly and helpful at no extra cost.

Worst Vacation Experience Ever

I went to the Rex on my honeymoon. This place was horrible - Motel 6 is better than this place. The food was awful and it was the same thing everyday. The only decent meal they provided was for breakfast. Food wasn't available for very long - not like the other all inclusive resorts I have visited. The staff wasn't friendly. They were more concerned with getting their friends and co-workers food than the guests. The entertainment was awful. The dress code was absurd. And the mosquitos were out of control. The rooms were sub par to say the least. The only thing this place had going for them was the actual beach. I couldn't wait to leave the resort and head home. Not the honeymoon experience I had anticipated.

This is our 10th year going to antigua.We dive &snorkel all day long.We have a timeshareat the Rex cost less than 800.a week sleeps6with2 bathrooms We dive around to dis beaches Chris&anne PA.USA.

don,t bother

tired hotel poor management limited entertainment under staffed food quite good but limited choice at lunchtime [bbq every day] limited help for those with special food needs i.e coeliacs the only saving grace about this hotel is the fantastic beach [ which is public] worst hotel i,ve ever stayed at in the caribbean
