Villa Zama is a breezy, family-owned beach house on the white sands of Tankah Bay, about 45 minutes south of Cancun, between Akumal and Tulum on Mexico's Yucatan. With its private beach, away from the tourist developments to the north, Villa Zama offers a unique experience for those with a love of natural beauty, a respect for the local culture and an independent spirit.
Our house has a full kitchen, 3 bedrooms – each with a private bath and tile shower, ceiling fans and all the necessary amenities. Tankah Bay is a uniquely private stretch of beach with only a few residences, a great beachside bar and restaurant, a dive shop, inland lagoon (cenote) and plenty of sun and starlit skies. We have a wonderful Mexican couple who live in an separate casita on the property, and provide daily service, hospitality and added security so you can explore the recreational, historical and cultural opportunities of the Riviera Maya.
The beach is white sand and maintained daily. The world's second longest coral reef protects the bay and offers endless opportunities for recreation and exploration ... sun bathe, snorkel, siesta or explore the bay in our two sea kayaks.
