This was the most beautiful place I have ever seen! The condo was clean and well kept. The view was breath-taking, the grounds were impeccable, it was peaceful and relaxing. I would recommend this piece of heaven to anyone who wants to relax in paradise.

Needs a make over

The Good:
The service is excellent, friendly and prompt. The view was amazing (#5). The property around the condo is well maintained, as is the pool area, which is also beautiful.
The Bad:
Many things did not work. The oven spewed out a noxious gas smell when turned off. The microwave was spastic and beeped incessantly without respite. The knobs to open and close windows were mostly rusted and some were non-functioning. The cabinets smelled bad. The decor felt haphazardly put together, like the owner went to market and just grabbed the cheapest random decorations he/she could find. One of our toilet seat lids would not stay up when sitting on the pot, so you had to hold it while you voided. The wind howled through our sliding glass door because it wouldn't close all the way. Our "neighbor" was high strung (#4) and apparently "lives" there. And the building itself is literally the ugliest on Akumal Bay. It is a total eye sore. My 11 year old described it best when he stated "It looks like a factory".
Nothing a little paint and some attention to the place couldn't fix. Oh, and bring beach towels. Marty, one of the owners, stated that there would be beach towels...there was not. Only those smallish white bathroom towels which you are charged a fee for laundering.

Beauty and Privacy!

I don't understand the lack of info on the Web on La Sirena, the condos are beautiful, the water is incedible and the views...well, just about the best i've seen. I think the properties have been owner occupied, which means that the grounds and the man made beach are pristine! The only reason i give 4 stars instead of 5 is because there are no cabana boys or bar service. It's a condo, not a resort. That alone has some pluses too! The condo is nicer in person than it is on the web!
