Description: From two to six nights after the full moon, visitors can observe a natural phenomenon in the ebbing tide of the Caicos Bank. About one hour after sunset the glow worms perform their mating ritual. The egg mass released by the female worms spirals to the surface, emitting a pale green luminescence. The male does also glow. After a zig-zag dance until he encounters the egg masses he moves around in the masses emitting an even brighter green "glow".
