I love this place! We went in 2000 and again in 2007! My heart belongs at this bar in St. Maarten. My dream is to buy this bar and retire down in St. Maarten!!!! Time to pay the bill. I put out my Discover card. Discover was one of the four cards listed on the front of the menu that they accepted. Waitress said they did NOT accept it! I said it was on front of menu which she produced and I pointed to Discover. She then said it was an old menu! After my husband got quite irate, I put out my MasterCard. She kept saying they didn't accept Discover. She never looked down to see the new card!! Finally she took it. If I could have cancelled the automatic 15% tip, I would have. HOW CAN YOU LIST ON YOUR MENU THAT YOU TAKE A CARD AND THEN YOU REJECT IT. We will go back to Skipjack's in the future - much friendlier atmosphere and staff!
