Restaurant Tip: "Conchita's Excellent"
The Ceiling filled with some 40 fans draws you at once into this open atmosphere ~ The restaurant for locals is indeed a draw to any visitor... indeed a taxi is a good idea if you do not have a vehicle rental - but it is worth it! The plates were fool! The SANGRIA,unlike any I've seen was beautiful to look at (red on the top half and white on the bottom)and lovely to drink... a clean and upscale casual eatery, we can recommend it!
Type of Restaurant: Seafood
Price: US$11-20
Directions/Location: 65th Ave. between 21st and 23rd S.

Restaurant Tip: "Sorrisi, Best italian restaurant in the island...loved it!"
I was walking through the streets of Cozumel looking for a nice and attractive restaurant nearby and suddenly I found this rustic Italian restaurant called Sorrisi´s, as soon as I walked in, the gave this special attention to me. The service was great as well as the food and the drinks, specially the sangria that they gave me to taste (awesome!), and the special licore gelatto, just great!. The bologneze was incredible, the best i´d had.
So far the best italian cuisine in the island and the Caribbean, I highly recommend it!, and the good thing is that is located in downtown, almost in between the ferry pier and the punta langosta´s main pier (cruise), so is near from downtown hotels.
I´ll try to get the address soon, believe me, if you´re planning to visit Cozumel you should go and visit Sorrisi too, you won´t regret it. The finest cuisine in the island.
It´s located in 3 Av. Sur 317, Cozumel, Mexico
Type of Restaurant: Italian
Price: not applicable
Favorite Dish: the lasagna is great, and the gelattos are just amazing!...they have different flavors, I don´t recall the name of the one I had, but it had some liquor on it, haha.
Directions/Location: 3 Av. Sur 317, Cozumel, Mexico, next to Pizza Hut and restaurant Chi´s (chinese food)

Kinta

Restaurant Tip: "Kinta Fine Dining"
This is truely Fine Dining...but at affordable moderate prices. Chris is a young man who definitly uses his imagination and talent in the kitchen.
Everything on the menue is an original by Chris, and even the funky modern names he comes up with are fun.
The menue is changed every 3 months, but I am sure each one will be just as great. Be sure to try dessert...I forgot the name, just tell Chris you want the Mexican Crem Brulee.
Soups, Specialty Salads, and Appitizers were 40-70 pesos. Entrees 105-150 pesos, and desserts 40-60 pesos.
Type of Restaurant: Fine Dining
Price: US$11-20
Favorite Dish: I forgot the name, just tell Chris you want the Mexican Crem Brulee.
