My husband and I are scuba divers and we're looking for a place to vacation in the Fall. Has anyone stayed at the Lighthouse Reef Resort in Belize?

I am sorry to tell you that the Resort will be closing on the 30th July, 2005 for about two years for major renovations.

If you are interested in staying off the coast of Belize, check out Turneffe Island Lodge. They are actually even a little nicer than Lighthouse. They have better accommodations and better food. Their staff is the best too, check out their great website at www.turneffelodge.com.
