Maho Bay Tent Cottages: St. John Forum

We will be staying at Maho Bay in April and I have two concerns: should we be concerned about creepy-crawly creatures in the tent? Also, what sort of provisious (food) should we bring. We will be eating most dinners at the restaurant. Is a car necessary? Thanks for any help.
