As I encounter the numerous web
sites devoted to the HISTORY OF
TRINIDAD and TOBAGO, for the
year 1942 there is the item about
the U.S. Army Radar station."near
Charlotteville."
Way back then, I was a member
of the platoon that served there, on
the top of Flagstaff Hill. I was fort-
unate in being able to revisit the
island and that hilltop in April 2002.
My QUESTION : is there any way to
find out whether anyother members
of our
platoon have ever been back?
My challenge could be the subject
for a search of lists of names in
Guest Books at local hotels, inns or
other Guest facilities. I am not able
to recall names, but if signers
identified themselves in other
obvious ways; like Flagstaff hill, or
3rd platoon, or "C" Company, or
684th Signal Corps--Air Warning
Battalion U. S. Army. Headquarters
was at Waller Field, Trinidad.
Could there be anyone who
would recall our being there? If so,
please send it on to: Marcel Stratton < stratton@rrt.net >

Thank you.
