El Dorado Royale: Playa del Carmen Forum

We are planning a trip in December. Can anyone tell me about a current trip to El Dorado Royale?

We previously stayed at El Dorado Resort & Spa and love it.

We were there for a week in february and it was wonderful! The resort is apparently older than some but the rooms were great, very clean and comfortable. We really appreciated how nice the staff was, willing to help in anyway they could. The food was also very good. Hope you have fun.
We are trying to go again this winter...I can see where we would make it an annual trip!

Hi, Would you let me know how your trip to the El Dorado Royale went? I'm going on Honeymoon and after reading some of the stories I'm a little scared!!!

The ElDorado Royale is WONDERFUL. My husband and I have been SEVERAL times and we are going again in early March. The food, service and resort has been better that we could have imagined each time we have been there. Does anyone know of a place that is comparable? WE love going there every year, but we would like to try some place new...
