The wife and I, along with another couple, just got back to Nebraska from a stay there the week of Nov 15th - 22nd.
The laid back atmosphere was just what we were looking for.
The weather was almost great 80F by day and 70F by night. Very little wind the last 4 days we were there. We didn't see any spectacular sunrises, but that might have been the margaritas more than anything else.
The food was also very adequate. If you don't get enough to eat you only have yourself to blame. We ate at the Italian restaurant twice and the Mexican restaurant once. The breakfast omletes were fresh cooked and very good. Carlos was a very attentive waiter for us from day one, so we searched him out whenever we ate inside downstairs. Snoop was also a very good waiter out in the Mexican restaruant.
Super Tony and Pacho tried very hard to get people involved in the daily activities, but the laid back atmosphere made their jobs tough.
Bueno nachas Tony. oops That's one Tony said I wasn't supposed to say around girls. Oh my god! oh my god! oh my god!
The girls really enjoyed the spa the last day we were there.
The bed in our room was a little hard for our liking. The room was a little musky smelling, so maybe a candle of some sorts would be a good item to take along. But, then again we were not in the room much.
The dress code was not strictly enforced in the restaruants.
If you want a laid back, lay on the beach, vacation this place is it.
You can also do many activities off of the resort, but they will all cost you some extra cash.
