drinking water: Bahamas Forum

I have read that it is best to drink bottled water in the Bahamas. I am staying at the Superclubs Breezes all inclusive so does that mean avoiding fountain drinks and ice cubes as well?

Water is safe to drink in Nassau. Just had friends stay there over New Year's, drinks are plentiful & you can have ones with ice cubes. Just don't drink too much alcohol, that's what gets people sick in the hot sun.
