Couples Ocho Rios: Jamaica Forum

We just returned from Beaches Boscobel. We were there March 18-25 and this was our kids first time in Jamaica. We all had a GREAT time. The resort upgraded our room 3 upgrades which put us in a family suite looking at the ocean. The room was always clean with plenty of towels and the refrigerator was always stocked. In fact, they called every night and asked us if we needed anything specific! The main pool was always clean, plenty of towels available and plenty of chairs even with the resort being fully booked(although I do recommend that you reserve your chair early - as early as 6AM!). The food was very good, we ate at the buffet almost every meal and had a very good selection every time. Even our picky 11 year old found something she liked! Our 16 year old was very entertained by the teen coordinators and met several really nice kids from all over the world (Austrailia, Italy, Germany, England and the US) through the teen events. The fun pals, Tenesha, Natoya, Akleish ect. - YOU GUYS ROCK! Our kids couldn't have asked for a nicer group of people to work with! The entertainment was as good or better than Sandals Negril and was well diversified to entertain the different age groups. The beach was kept clean and the sea grass was kept at bay so it never entered the swimming area. The banana boat was a riot and our girls loved the glass bottom boat. When the resort is as busy as it was when we were there, you need to sign up for snorkeling a few days ahead of time, although the watersports people were usually accomodating if they could be. All in all, if you are interested in going somewhere where you know your kids will be safe, where they will meet other kids from all over the world and the adults can still have a great, relaxing vacation, this is the place. We did the Ocho Rios highlight tours, falls, sight seeing ect... with a tour company called courtney's tour (courtney_tay@yahoo.com), and had Bright Light(Guide) show us around for $15pp it was a great day also. We would return in a minute!
