Couples Negril Nude Beach: Caribbean Forum

We are thinking of Couples Negril in June. Has anyone used the nude beach there? How was it and are there any other clothing optional beaches that you can walk to and use? Thanks.

Couples Negril is best choice. Highly recommented but more for retired people.
Very laid back and poor entertainments.
We were there in 2001 and the nude beach was more than poor.
We stayed last year at Breezes runawaybay. Nude beach excelent. Own bar with beer and other drinks. And an own jacuzzy is available as well.
Furthermore 50 meters is a great reef with many fishes. Its great and a very good feeling/experience snorkelling without swimmsuits.

Nude beach area at Couples Negril was a small fenced in area along the beach. I enjoyed some time in the sun there. My wife would not join me. In fact she did not even go topless during our 3 day stay at Couples Negril. The resort ask that woman not be topless around their main pool. This request was not followed by a number of the female guests. The atmosphere among the many guests was clothing or no clothing - not a big deal. The accomodations were very nice. My suggestion is to enjoy your time at Couples Negril. Be nude if you wish on the beach. Walk the beach to the ajoining property. Enjoy your vacation in the sun.

Have been to CN the last three springs and are booked for Apr 04. We spend much of our time on the nude beach. The beach at CN is great (white and soft). The water is clear, warm and calm. CN provides float cushions on the lounge chairs. It is very nice to take the floats out and just relax on the water.

There is a self-serve bar setup on the nude beach. Red Stripe on tap, rums, vodkas, sodas and mixers. They will bring other types of liquor if requested.

There is a restroom and shower.

Shade from several trees.

The area is partially screened by bushes (more privacy back from the water, open to the rest of the beach close to the water). The weeks that we have been there, usage starts with about 10 - 12 couples and picks up as the week goes on. Ages are 30s and 40s.

just got back from cn my wife and i had a great time 25th wedding anniv. we spent most of the time at the nude beach and kept taking our chair pads while nude into the water. we had a private shower , bar, jacuzzi and toilet and did not exp any problems.everyone at the nude beach were very open. the beach was great ,the people and servers were great the whole place gets an a+++++ from us. My wife and I enjoyed CN best of any of our 4 Jamaican vacations!

It is great for beginners, you have plenty of room so you arent on display, you can go back far back along the bush boarder and you will feel comfortible. There is a private unattended bar with soda, wine, and full bar.. Totally cool, you dont even have to put cloths on to get totally hammered. The chairs are very comfortible, and there are plenty of floaters for laying out in the water.

People will walk by as it is permitted to walk from resort to resort in the Bloody Bay area. If you walk the entire beach line you will see tons of cool resorts, but CN sure has a great combination to create a great Jamaican vacation!

The beaches are guarded and you may have to check out when you leave so they will easilly let you back in. There is also a shower and restroom on the nude beach.

I would go back in a second!

Hubby and I have been to Couples Negril twice and we always make it a point to enjoy the nude beach as we both love being nude around others. We had a wonderful time and met some really nice people in our week there and hope to go back real soon

I'm looking at Couples Negril for April 2007. Can anyone tell me what the average age range is at this resort?

Why settle for nude beach, when you can have nude resort. Eden Bay resort has a nude beach and 3 pools for the guests to use. You can be nude on the entire property. For dinner you can be nude as well, but most of the guests prefer to wear a little something.
