BP Tulum. Are shirts with sleeves for dinner needed or is sh: Tulum Mexico Forum

I am visiting the Bahia Principe Tulum in September and noted that the alacarte's required gents to wear shirts with long sleeves for dinner, does anybody know if short sleeve shirts are acceptable and if it would cause any problems if worn.
