DON'T go!!!! The lobby is NOT air conditioned and it is terribly hot!....also they will try to sell you a timeshare, don't buy into it! We did -- BIG MISTAKE.

Hi Sarah, my husband and I didn't stay at x-pu ha, but we visited for a day and enjoyed ourselves very much. It is true that they will try and sell you a timeshare, all of the resorts will, just say no and walk away with some very nice gifts. We sure did! Don't let anyone mess up your honeymoon before you even get there. You and your hubby to be are sure to have a wonderful time!
By the way, the reason the lobby isn't air-conditioned is because it's completely open...no way to air-ccondition that.

We stayed for a week at the xpu ha palace and had a wonderful time. Everyone was exceedingly polite and courteous to us. We especially enjoyed Allehandro, Jesus, Valentin, Louis, .Roberto, Gabriel and Martin.

My only complaint would be that the lobby and 2 restaurants were very far away and not centrally located. There are shuttles, but not always available. We were ill for a couple of days and in the heat the walking seemed almost unbearable. BUT, the food was very good and the enthusiasm of the staff phenomenal.

We stayed at Moon Palace and visited x-pu has. It was absolutely beautiful, secluded and romantic. My wife and I are planning a getaway weekend (w/o kids) to x-pu ha also. It is very hot, but you are in Mexico in July, plenty of a/c in rooms, food is great and the snorkeling and beaches are unbelievable.

I just returned from XPU HA today! I had a wonderful time! I can't wait to go back. It will be very hot but all of Mexico is. Take a good water proof sun block and enjoy the water to cool off. The people are so friendly. I was never approached about a time share. It is an eco park so there is a lot of walking.

Has anyone been to xpu ha palace with teenagers? Are there other teens & things for them to do? Is there windsurfing?

Can anyone share information about the exercise equipment there. Also is it possible to get low calorie food there?
Is ther aything specila I should know., we are taking one of our kids, a young adult.

There is a SMALL gym which is never in use. It is open air though and for exercise most people just did a lot of walking.

The food selection is HUGE, and the low-calorie type is mostly fruit, salad, freshly cooked omelets.....
