Hello! We are a bunch of, "30 something" guys, (maybe 4-6 of us)looking for some R&R after working at sea for weeks on end, we hope to be in T&T around mid march, where should we stay? The big question is..Trinidad or Tobago? We will not be looking for any hassle but at the same time we don't want to be hermits! - some of us will only want to stay for a couple of nights, others a week or more - drinking, dancing and diving are all high on the to do list. Our nationalities (and tastes) are European rather than American. Many thanks for your suggestions - we look forward to "liming"(?) with you!!

Tobago is more fun during the easter season when tourists flock there for their annual goat races. Sunday School and Divers Den are great parties. Sunday school offers, gambling, steel pan, vendors, dancing, etc. Divers Den is a bar that has Karaoake mondays and late night a dance party. Many bars in Tobago but not that happening. Quite, relaxing, beautiful its a beach vacation.

Trinidad is not a beach vacation unless you stay at the beach which is more expensive. Trinidad is beautiful and wonderful, but for different reasons. Explore the streets of Port of Spain, go to Paramin, the mud volcanoes, etc however this is more of a on the go vacation. You need to learn the transportation if you dont have a car and its kinda more of a hassle.

Hello, well I am from Trinidad, if you are lookin for R&R like what you stated above, I think Tobago would intrigue you, you dont need to stay at any of the high prices hotels, Jimmy's by the Sea is a good place to stay it right in Store Bay area, the night life on that stretch of the road is great in the night, for mingling etc. Its right by the beack ( Store Bay ) where you can go snorkling, go on the glass bottom boats etc. I stayed at Jimmy's before it was great, no complaints. Its basically a villa sort of deal.
